Transmetropolitan has rekindled my desire to be a journalist like Snow Crash made me want to be a pizza driver, all those years ago. Only with more drugs. Lots more.
YES!! See?! Me too. Apparently the first story arc is based on Hunter S Thompson's life in the early 80s. If you think about it, it's still a superhero comic, just casting the journalist as hero - which is badass in a Stephensonian way (badass like Moses) - his superpower is weilding the truth, which ultimately precipitates justice. YES!! 8^D

Dude, freakin snowcrash. So Good. Sometimes when I was driving down Shaw Road, Id drive a little TOO fast. Like in Snowcrash. But not.
